The difference between the hanging kit and the hanging kit mount is the step down screw is not supplied in the mount kit and not required.
Paired with the mounting rails (sold separately) the hanging kit allows you to adjust the height of your Sol modules as desired.
Changing the height is as easy; just press the locking slider and go.
